Alaska Railroad Hurricane Turn Train

Hello From Alaska,

I was on the Hurricane Turn train last Sunday July 29. On our way back to Talkeetna, the crew stopped the train for about 15 minutes to allow the southbound Denali Star train to get further ahead of us. This gave passengers an opportunity to wander down to Indian River at milepost 269.9. The crew has asked everyone to board the train for departure. I will be posting my travelogue of this day trip later in August. This is the only day on my trip, so far, with blue sky and no rain.
