Proposition 1A, the $9 billion bond measure approved by California voters in 2008, described a train system that would need a maximum of 2 hours, 40 minutes to travel between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
This requirement would necessitate separate RoW on the Peninsula to meet the aggressive schedule.
