Steve: There is a book entitled "LINES WEST" -- author WOOD (husband & wife) that tells a lot about what you're looking for.. It was quite an operation. 11,000 volt AC... Just like PRR.
Electric ops between Skykomish and Wenatchee.. Abandoned in 1956.. Too bad. It was a great system for the eight mile Cascade tunnel. Now they have to suffer delays with that stupid giant-fan ventilation system. Check it out and find out about their two gigantic GE electric locomotives which I feel makes a "Little Joe" look small.
