What type of 'cars' were idled?
Box cars? Container tables? Automobile racks? Bulk cargo gondolas?
Grain cars? Tank cars? Aggregate hoppers? Reefers? Center flats?
Etc.

Each car type serves a different commodity, and knowledge of which car types were idled would indicate soft demand in that segment.
