I have always loved this movie, as it contains my 2 favorite hobbies : NASCAR & railroads. Recall that title character Larry ( Peter Fonda ) is a struggling NASCAR driver who, along with his mechanic Deke, ( Adam Roarke ) decides to rob a supermarket to provide them with cash to race some more. In the end , though, the train wins ( as always. )" Remember, at a grade crossing, Even if it's a tie - You Lose..."
Another popular movie, also a favorite of mine,is Cool Hand Luke. As I recall, doesn't Luke walk the Santa Fe tracks @ Orwood bridge ( West of Stockton ) in one scene ???
