Gerald,

If you are referring to the Roaring Camp Beach Train it is running daily between Roaring Camp and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. I did notice pieces of plywood held in place by rocks on top of their engine when my wife shot the video at the link below. The Roaring Camp Beach Train appears at the end of the video when they move off the Boardwalk and onto one leg of the wye to allow Sierra Northern #50 to pass.
