Here's the latest news from Charlie Schultz.

Chard's daughters, Judy and Joy, arrived in Hesperia late last night.
Today they took Chard home from the hospital and were busy with a
variety of matters. For right now Chard is in a wheel chair, but it is
hoped that he will quickly start using a walker and will soon be back to
walking without assistance. He has been in good spirits today and is
extremely glad to be back home after spending 12 days in bed at the
hospital. Home Hospice care for Chard will start within the next day or
two.

Chard can receive phone calls, cards and letters at home, but no
visitors please at this time. If you are inclined to call or write him,
please do so, as his spirits are always lifted when he hears from
friends and well-wishers.

Last, Chard and his daughters have asked that I convey their sincere
appreciation for the visits, phone calls, cards and prayers he has
received while in the hospital.
