First time posting in some time -
Caught the Amtrak Phase IV heritage unit in downtown Los Angeles a few weeks passed. Unfortunately, light was facing north, so the station shot didn't make a lot of sense. But it was still summer light, which doesn't work on the directly north/south section after dinner time. So, I was stuck with one shot - with an ugly electrical cable - the spot at Chavez where the track turns south.

Here's a close up of the locomotive - me likey.

And here's a shot of a Riverside bound Metrolink, in which I stop trying to avoid those wires/cables, and just use them as a frame. Doesn't exactly work - but kind of fun.

Finally, while I have your attention, here's the Cascade castrato F40 on the Del Mar Cans.

And here's a BNSF stacker from the same spot.

Thanks for looking, and as always, corrections aren't just welcome, but requested.
