I'm not trying to apply this is the last time it will happen but if Tacoma Rail does line up the mountain division with stored cars, we simply cannot access Tacoma then. Same deal with Chehalis sadly. Hopefully they will be able to do another Tacoma trip with the #15 before it goes down for its 1472.

Thanks for the kind words! While we are equally disappointed that we cannot haul passengers (all 5 of our cars are being used on the excursion train, which are all or nearly sold out right now) but one never knows what can happen in the future but the least we can do is make it publicly known what we will be doing. Not a lot of tourist railroad organizations would go to such length to do social media, railfan websites, and other items to get the word out.

People love steam, regardless if it is a passenger or if it is freight consist on a deadhead move. A steam engine doing almost 130 miles isn't something to really sneeze about in 2011, even if it is on a short line/regional railroad, we are surely glad of their hospitality to allow us to go down and join them in this event.
