I remember,as a child,going to the station in Hollywood Florida. The station agent there would note in chalk the arrival times of the passenger trains on a large board in the waiting room. The Silver Meteor was one of them , along with the Silver Star. Sometimes the head end had a Pennsylvania E unit in Tuscan red with gold stripes. Thanks for the memory.
