The earlier KM / CSRM discussion became a commentary on railroad museum volunteering.

I recommend reading "Volunteering on a Grande Scale", available via Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad ( GOOGLE search key words: friends cumbres ). Scroll to VOLUNTEERING, then wander a bit. Also, view the NEWS reports from last summer.

Watching, better yet participating in, any of the one week sessions, two each in May, July, and August is the greatest. Average 100 - some in each session. Try counting us in the "formal" group photos.
