Truckee Railroad Days???

Back in the early 2000's there was a Truckee Railroad Days Event held yearly on the second weekend of September. Whatever happened with that event's apparent discountenance? Will it ever be revived? Could the new Colfax Railroad Days event encounter the same fate of being discontinued? Hopefully not?
