PLA 50th celebration at Niles Canyon

This Saturday the PLA will kick off a 50th anniversary celebration with an all SP day running a normal operation day schedule (black widow geep and SD, tiger stiped NW2), followed by an evening steam special. The latter event is for members only, but it's still easy to join. The PLA has an amazing collection of equipment, including the last surviving Krauss Maffei(under restoration) and a complete Yosemite Valley Railway passenger train.
