Those that actually read the article will note this is the land UP recently bought on spec adjacent to the plant, not the old SP Warm Springs yard. There was idle talk of building a domestic intermodal facility there. Recent articles about domestic box reload warehouse expansion around the current Lathrop facility point to that seeming unlikely.
