March 9th 2009 finds Sierra Northern GP20 #48 is on Beach St. in Santa Cruz heading to Watsonville with the last of the cement hoppers stored at the closed CEMEX plant at Davenport. To the left is the famed Coconut Grove. During WWII, wounded Navy personnel used the Grove as a recovery facility,
