Shorpy on a Tear Lately

The Historic Photo Blog, Shorpy, has been on a tear lately with some great photos with rail interest, especially old freight cars. What is interesting in the photos linked below is some of the billboard style lettering on both the C&O car (link,) and the Copper Range boxcar (link.)

Also in this post, in the comments, someone is looking for information on the suburban locomotive seen at Petoskey, Michigan. I am guessing that it was built for MC commuter service in Detroit.
