For the un-informed, "The Western Railroader" is still being published SIX times per year by the Pacific Coast Chapter, Railway & Locomotive Historical Society in Sacramento, CA.
Irene Lugg is the current Editor. She is assisted, on occasion, by member Jan Rodolf.

Irene is considering retirement after the publishing of the November-December issue. At the present, there are NO volunteers to step in and fill her shoes.

Irene told me that the Chapter has copies of "MOST" issues of The Western Railroader. There are a few missing issues. I help Irene out by contributing an occasional story now and then.

The November-December issue of "The Western Railroader" will be HUGE ... A very lengthy story with lots of photos on a very historic subject pertaining to the Southern Pacific. This story has "NOT" been told in depth before-- SP fans will absolutely love it !

Anyway, the other party who probably has copies of ALL "Western Railroaders" is Arthur Lloyd.
Possibly Doug Richter, too.
