Passenger Special on the line to Coos Bay, OR 2005

In July of 2005, Trains Unlimited operated a passenger special to Portland as part of that years NRHS Convention in Portland. The advertised route up the Inside Gateway didn't happen, nor did the promised SP E unit. The F unit which took the train out of the Bay Area pooped out in Mt. Shasta City. Never the less, they did go out the Coos Bay Line as far as the bridges at Cushman.

On the way back to Eugene, seen at Brickerville where a resident warned of some armed teenagers robbing and shooting up the countryside. My 9mm went on belt.
