McCloud Railway sold

A thread on Trainorders (by that attorney from Bend, OR) reports that what remains of the McCloud Railway has been sold to the owner of Railroad Materials Salvage Inc.

While MH does not identify the new owner further, Mike Williams owns Railroad Materials Salvage of Richmond, MO. Mr. Williams also owns the remaining line of the former Camas Prairie Railroad (Idaho) running from Spaudling to Grangeville, part of which has been removed.

Mr. Williams has interests in other railroad properties, including some that are operating. Here's one:

He was (and may still be) involved in the Washington and Idaho Railway (track now owned by the State of Washington), which has recently been filling unit grain trains in cooperation with BNSF.
