Well, I might throw in a few things here...

One, it may have been a joint production within a few countries or made by an advertising agency for sale to whom ever wanted to purchase it. Perhaps this ad wasn't just for US audiences and may have had a few other monies from other countries funding it. All the story 'destinations' shown on the departures sign are well known everywhere, and the US isn't the only one that reads English. Generally in commercials like this the last five seconds of the advert, where what in the industry is called the "localized tag" is placed, is where video with no text is. This is where varying text for other localities or languages is put up to make it look local.

Second, I thought it was cute that they left the conductors uniform saying CD (České dráhy). Probably a requirement to use their station for filming.
