Lest we forget that UP, as a corporate policy ,regularly pulls revenue loads when their steam power needs to be re-located for a fan trip or other function. There was that incident where the 844 worked as a helper to a stalled freight train. There are still some freight cars running around with a stenciled "switched by steam" from the event in Vancouver.
