"What ever happened to the Milwakee cars that were on that run out of Cottage Grove,Or"

The Oregon, Pacific & Eastern only ever used two Milwaukee cars, specifically a pair of tap lounges acquired in 1972. The two lounges served with four ex-Illinois Central coaches, a Western Pacific rear end dome lounge, and a Canadian Pacific open car. The OP&E sold the entire set in 1974 to Los Angeles County for a possible joint passenger operation between Los Angeles and San Diego and replaced it with a total of eight ex-Illinois Central cars.
