You guys get excited about amtrak and wi-fi.

I'd settle for an amtrak station that is open and selling tickets.

My kid used amtrak to come home for college winter break. Amtrak has a presence on campus and a station stop in his college town. But, he had to buy the tickets on line, and have them mailed to his apartment because neither the campus rep nor the station are open for ticket purchase.

Wi-fi is fine, but, if you can't get a ticket, what's the point?
