Mystery ATSF station name

I've got a slide taken Aug. 1966 by an unknown photographer, and it appears to be part of a set taken on a railfan charter on the Santa Fe. I'm trying to identify the location, and have some decent clues, but am not able to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The overall landscape is western, appearing to be New Mexico or Northern Arizona. Obviously arid, but with substantial bushes and lightly rolling terrain. The slide is hand-labled ATSF Branch, and there is a boarded up Santa Fe depot with only part (I think) of the station name, this being the last part of the name "...ROWE", which does not look to be on center. There is a space ahead of the R, so I think Rowe is the last part of the name. Part of the station was cut off by the photographer, so it's hard to figure out if Rowe is the whole name or a part. The station also has the Santa Fe emblem roughly centered at the top of the gable.
There is a milepost in front and it is clearly 86.
My 1988 ATSF Western Region timetable (Richmond, Calif. to Needles, Calif.) does not list Rowe, or anything close to that.
I'm thinking New Mexico or Arizona...?
