Well, I gave up on Amtrak LD trains a few years back. I was really getting fed up with the mess that is Amtrak, and when I took the train on "relaunch" day for the Starlight in 2008, that sealed the deal for me. It was a disorganized mess that wasn't enjoyable at all. I said "never again", but it's been 3 1/2 years so I'll give it a shot.
