They get here to Spokane about every 4 years. The last ones have had trains with them. Sad to see that this one doesn't. The best was in '93 when the UP discovered that they didn't plan out far enough to have surplus power in town for it to leave. Not to fear, because they did have an excursion special with the 3 E-units that just happened to have a layover in town on that day, so they borrowed the E-s for the run to Hinkle and then rushed them back. I was lucky enough to have heard a radio conversation the night before (where the special's traveling Manager was NOT happy about it).
