But unfortunately the Cal cable had already been cut back to Van Ness. But it is possible that it was still being run out of the California Street Cable Car Co. carhouse at Hyde and California at the time of this film. They would have had to extend the cable from Sacramento St. up to California and Mason. The Sacramento St. cable car line was run out of Washington and Mason until 1942. OPB might know about this as he mentioned being unhappy about the line being truncated from Presidio back to Van Ness.

Mrs. Klussman tried to save both systems but it failed at the ballot box.
