It should be pointed out that the option under study (Thornton-Oakesdale) is not a "new" line--it's the rebuilding of the abandoned one. A problem on the Colfax-Moscow segment is not the bridge that needs to be put back in--it's that a few others on the line need MAJOR work as well.
