There is a copy circulating of Sierra Nevada & Pacific's proposed 2012 schedule to operate the Wallowa Union Railroad in NE Oregon.

A basic outline of the schedule is:

February through mid-July - Trains for fishing or rafting out of Minam. These are listed as "RTC" - maybe using one or more of WURR's RDCs? I think these are Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon though the dates in March are Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed. Regular riders have been generally allowed on these in the past.

Beginning June 30th - every Saturday: Steam powered excurions from Elgin to Wallowa and return.

Sundays July 1st to September 16th - Train runs Sunday from Elgin to Joseph, layover on Monday, train returns Joseph to Elgin on Tuesday EXCEPT one train per month lays over two days in Joseph and returns on Wednesday. (Though not stated as such, these should be steam powered since the steam engine runs out of Elgin on Saturdays and during the latover at Joseph.)

Mondays July 2nd to September 17th (and one Tuesday per month) - Steam powered excursion from Joseph to Wallowa and return (during the Joseph layover of the overnight trains)

Beginning September 23rd - Sundays steam powered train from Elgin to Wallowa and return.

Last train on the schedule is October 28th. Steam engine they are planning on using is former Yreka Western #19. Many of the steam trains have one or more bus options to make them a shorter trip.

I do not know if this schedule was actually approved. Watch WURR's website www.eaglecaptrain.com for newer info.
