Crew pix

In addition to the required goings on to put trains together, the NN usually schedules some yard switching sessions that provide a lot of additional opportunities for pictures of the crew in action. A friend said he got some nice pix of a car knocker inspecting journals, etc. I liked the following picture of our passenger conductor because he reminded so much of the guys on the SP back in "the days" (although our seats were not as bright)!

In discussing this with Mark Bassett who runs the show, he said some fans like the crew pix, some fans want everyone out of the picture (as if trains ran themselves I guess). I have always wished I got more pix of crew back when I started taking pix.
