San Bernardino 'mini-meet'

Attended said meet at the AT&SF/LA&SL depot at San Berdoo on Saturday, and was impressed. Presentations were thoughtfully done, and well received. Winterail body-odor and general rudeness issues greatly minimized. Neat displays in the baggage/REA end of the building by the San Bernardino History Museum, and the swap meet was a nice touch. Picked up three 16x20 Don Simms silver-gelatin enlargements for $20 by the man himself, also nice to talk with.

Did not hear the refurbished ATSF shop whistle. Wonder how long that's been deactivated? It was in service when I worked there in 2003. Sounded better when it was steam, but it would be nice to hear it again.

For those of you who did not attend, I would recommend it for next event.
