Caltrain Ceremony

What: An event to celebrate the completion of major renovations to two Caltrain stations.

In San Jose, two new platforms, four new tracks and new signals will allow trains to move in and out of this busy station more quickly.

In Santa Clara, a new pedestrian underpass and a new platform make the station safer for people using the station, open up an operational “bottleneck” in the Caltrain system and provide space for regional train service.

When & Where:
10:45 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 29
San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station, 65 Cahill Street
Platforms 8 and 9
11:15 a.m. – Special train leaves for Santa Clara Caltrain Station
11:25 a.m. – Program begins at Santa Clara station
