D&RGW SD40-T2's Cape Horn Sept 1996

Early September of 1996 and only days remain before the yellow armageddon would devour the Southern Pacific. Four SD40-T2's of D&RGW lineage with #5342 in the lead (3rd unit repainted into SP speed lettering) climb out of Long Ravine heading for Cape Horn and the Eastward climb over the Sierra Nevada.
