2 UP psgr specials now underway in Midwest

Two UP passenger specials are out and running in the Midwest, one steam, one diesel.

Steam engine 844 and train have departed Cheyenne headed east to Omaha, Kansas City, St. Louis, Marion, AR (across the river from Memphis) and North Little Rock, then on to Texas before heading back north. The schedule for the first lap can be found here: [www.up.com]

The three E9's and train left Muskogee, OK this morning, headed for Spofford, TX for the Abrazo Ceremony.
