I remember back in the late 60's and early 70's, seeing a few FM switchers, parked near the Newhall St. Yard Tower when passing by on Hwy. 17. They obviously had a different look than the then new SW1500's, so to me at about age 10, they stood out to me when I was "railfanning" from the back seat of the '63 Chevy Bel Air wagon. I would love to see one today.
