Re: Russian steam Locomotives

When I was a young kid my dad took us to the docks in Portland to see the Russian steam locomotives. There were long lines of them. I told people this story and they said you are nuts, no locomotives ever went to Russia from Portland. A few years ago at the maritime museum in Astoria I saw a picture of a ship leaving with a deck load of steam locomotives bound for Russia.
