You were there a lot closer to the end than you realize. The number 7 took a string of gondolas to the reload on Friday, April 3rd, and then returned to Klickitat with the last loads of logs. The following day, Saturday, April 4th, there was a "last run" excursion.

I assume that the number 7 was used to handle the scrap trains, but do not know if this is correct. I understand that there was another "last run" for Klicitat Management in May, but by that time only a few miles of track remained.
