Though born in San Francisco in 1928, my family did no rail travel during the years of the Oakland Moll, so I particularly enjoyed the excellent article above. It is so well written, the detailed numbers of the activities involved and the vivid description of the structures, is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing what had to have been hours of research in such a lucid and interesting manner.
