Do you remember the Western Pacific name being used for airlines and truck schools? UP lost or failed to copyright the WP name and logos. This explains why there are special painted hopper cars for SSW and DRGW, but not the WP. This was discussed extensively on the other board with the now retired UP P.R. guy. I wish them the best with WP paint.
