Good question. However, these photos make it very clear why the UP wanted to get rid of the line, particularly since Cemex at Davenport had closed down due to a) the economy and b) the Cruzans saying they were being poisoned by the chromium iodide (or something like that) being emitted from the plant.
ANd yes, it is La Selva beach, but forgive the original poster the typo and don't hyperventilate over it, okay? :-)
