Re: BNSF coal train

I caught this SAME COAL TRAIN at Marshall WA (9 miles west of Spokane) Saturday afternoon 5/4/2012.
We are looking east from the county road overpass. The train is on ex SP&S track and had stopped for a meet with an eastbound which will come down the connection track at Scribner and proceed east on the ex NP tracks.

The ex NP tracks are seen above the 9877, slightly lower elevation. The former UP track is between the two and is now a trail. It is seen in front of the nose of the 9877.
