They just announced yesterday they have sold out to an investment firm. Found Gary Marino will retire (or start another shortline holding company to sell to an investment firm), but provide consultant services as needed. Even more interesting (and West Coast related) is that former MetroLink CEO John Fenton will take the reins as CEO of Patriot Rail once the acquisition by Steel River has been completed.
