RCBT&P At Tunnel Under Mission Street in Santa Cruz

Memorial Day was the first opportunity that I have had time to catch the RCBT&P Beach Train heading to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk since the tunnel rehabilitation was completed a few weeks ago. It was good to see a train again on the Santa Cruz Branch Line since Sierra Northern departed in December.

I just posted some pictures I took of the rehabilitation work on the tunnel over on West Coast Rail Forums if you are interested. Below are two pictures of the Beach Train as it enters the tunnel on its way to the wye to turn and back onto the Boardwalk.
