Rich's information makes sense (especially since there's no record of the shrouds or any other part of these locomotives escaping the scrapper's torch); Santa Fe's Topeka Shops built a parade "locomotive" in 1935 that looked a lot like the Hiawatha Atlantics, so it wouldn't be surprising if someone in Iowa had done the same.
