That shot along the Santa Paula ROW kinda says it all about what I remember from my days in southern California. Most stretches of railroad that used to have an attractive, natural, scenic backdrop have either been ruined by subdivisions and malls and industrial parks, or have been abandoned. ATSF (now BNSF) through the Santa Ana River Canyon is a classic example. What a gorgeous place that used to be a quarter century or more ago.
