I’ll admit to riding the rails in the streets of L.A. with my 1946 Ford when I was a kid. It tracked perfectly. I’ll not admit to doing this on some very low activity branch lines around Los Angeles.
More recently while passing through the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel near Whittier, Alaska I found my Dodge Caravan tracked the rails quite nicely in the shared railroad/auto tunnel.
