Randall: I can understand why you'd want the
CC to restore a steam locomotive, but: to most
visitors, who are the ones who pay the bills to
keep the CC open, a clean and well-functioning
restroom is far more important than a steam locomotive,
which is a real black hole for money. (I say this as
an original member of the first restoration crew
of the SP 2472.)

Steam locomotives are very expensive to restore
and keep running! I love steam locomotives as much as
anyone around, and I know how many people they
attract, but -- the mom who shows up with her
little kids really needs that clean restroom, and will
probably not come back if she sees there is none.
(And she will tell others about her experience, too.)

I wish the folks at the CC all the best in getting funds
to build those restrooms, and to restore their rolling
stock.
