Hi Grant-- Thanks for the response. Yes, keep an eye on Greg Scholl's website for his Fall-2012 release of "SP STEAM FANTRIPS"... These films have never before been seen by the Public.
One of the first trips on the video involves the "
Camino, Placerville & Lake Tahoe Railroad" with railfans standing on top of the tenders.
Regarding that SP Bulletin photo from February--1946. I (KRK) wasn't born as yet...
Sure it wasn't a GIRL in the photo? "Patricia" was my late sister. She was thirteen years older than me.
Make sure you get a chance to see the basement railroad in operation on YOU TUBE. Do a search on their site for "STEAM RAILROADING IN THE BASEMENT" .. Many thanks.
