Yep its happening everywhere. There is a photo circulating the internet of a few guys who
tried to steal some still hooked up commercial wires and got fried. Surprised there is any
wire or signals left on Tenn. Pass. Just adds to the cost of reopening the line and making
reopening even less likely than it is. With the railroads, much of the wire is just copper coated steel wire, and in the cases of short runs, just steel wire so it really isn't worth much, but costs a lot to put back. One of the reasons the railroads are getting rid of
overhead code lines.
