Yes, I agree we need to know the impacts of these proposed coal terminals. I think some facts could go a long way in helping make some rational decisions. I think the editorial hits the mark. I am tired of the "coal dust in the Gorge" argument that is based on historical not current realities. And yes, there are other argruments that may have some environmental validity.....but please get rid of the spin and give me facts.
As I head back for another visit to China next year, my COPD will necessitate some kind of breathing mask but visit I will. I'm not up for tellling my Chinese friends how to live or run their country. Arlen
